Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding.

* The following district court cases took place Sept. 19.

-State of Montana vs. Codey McKee-Asbury. The matter before the court is sentencing. The court defers imposition of sentence for 2 years.  The defendant is ordered to serve 30 days in Lake County Jail within 6 months or defendant may receive credit by completing a 30 day in-patient treatment program or a six month successful participation in Job Corps. 

-State of Montana vs. Leroy Black III. The matter before the court is for sentencing. The court defers imposition of sentence for 4 years. 

-State of Montana vs. Reece McLeod. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal mischief, a felony. The court sets the matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Feb. 19, 2013 at 9 a.m. 

-State of Montana vs. Richard Davis. The matter before the court is for arraignment and for hearing of merits. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of attempted escape, a felony and the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony  and burglary, a felony.  The court sets the matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at  9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.  Hearing on the merits is continued on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at  9a.m. 

-State of Montana vs. Lisa Mitchell. The matter before the court is change of plea. The defendant admits to committing the offense of negligent vehicular assault, a felony.  Sentencing is set for Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. 

-State of Montana vs. Shanley Marshelle Thompson. The matter before the court is change of plea. The defendant admits to committing the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs , a felony. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 9 a.m.

The following court cases took place on Sept. 20.

- State of Montana vs. Christopher Bordon. The matter before the court is sentencing on revocation.  The court sentences the defendant to the DOC for 3 years. 

-State of Montana vs. Sheldon Hameline. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony.  The court sets the trial for an omnibus hearing on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Dec. 10 at 9 a.m. 

-State of Montana vs. Shane Johnson. The matter before the court is for change of plea. Defendant admits to committing the offense of issuing a bad check, common scheme, a felony. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Oct. 25 at 9a.m.

*The following Justice Court proceedings took place Sept. 14-Sept. 20. 

- Christopher Curry; 41. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance-second offense, a misdemeanor. 10 days in jail with 7 suspended and 3 credited. 

- Ryan Pollock; 31. Driving without a valid drivers license, a misdemeanor. Fined $200.

- Eric Ebinger; 49. Operating without liability insurance in effect-second offense, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 178 suspended. Fined $350. Speeding, a misdemeanor. Fined $55. 

- Leonard Lahaye; 37. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. Fined $150. 

-Brian Henson; 33. Fail to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle-first offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $215.

- Misty Terry; 24. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance-second offense. Fined $350.

Polson City Court, Judge Olson presiding 

*The following city court proceedings took place Sept. 15-Sept. 21. 

-Jacob Seibert; 22. Failure to return leased/rented/personal property-value not exceeding $1,500 in value, a misdemeanor. Fined $200. Disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Fined $60. 

 Booked into county jail

*The following people were booked into the county jail from Sept. 21-24., but in most cases have not had a chance to enter a plea. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

- Alex Jungwirth; 28.  Arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor and a probation violation, a felony. 

- Sunny Charlo; 31. Arrested on-site for a probation violation, a felony. 

- Keith Roberts; 52. Arrested on-site for aggravated assault, a felony. 

Released from county jail

- Ronald Delorto; 39. Arrested on-site for simple assault, a misdemeanor. 

- Alex Jungwirth; 28.  Arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor and a probation violation, a felony. 

- Tory Bick; 25. Arrested on-site.

- Jack Whaling; 20. Arrested on-site for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
