We will be starting BINGO up again on Friday, October 5th, following the noon meal.

This Friday, the 28th, is our birthday dinner. Not only will we be having a great roast beef dinner, but we will have a program sponsored by Monica Lindeen’s office. The movie is about fraud in Montana and what to do to avoid it. If you are not a regular here at the Center, give us a call at 676-2371 if you would like to attend. Please let us know by Wednesday at noon.

If you haven’t picked up your commodities yet, please do so, or call the COA at 676-2367 to make other arrangements.

Our October Board meeting will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, the 1st. If you are on the board, or have something to bring to their attention, please attend this meeting.

The Veterans Rep will be here on Thursday, the 11th, from 1 until 2 in the afternoon. That is also the day of our evening meal, and we will be serving roast pork.

The pinochle players will meet here on Monday, the 5th, at 7 p.m.

Our menu for the following week: Wed.(26th) is a breakfast taco and quiche, Fri.(28th) is roast beef, Monday (Oct. 1st) is beef stew and

cinnamon rolls, Wed.(3rd) is Salisbury steak, and Fri.(5th) is Sausage gravy and biscuits.

Come on in and join us, to eat, play pool, visit with friends, and to play BINGO on Fridays.

Just a friendly reminder, that dues for the upcoming year are due. To those of you who have paid, thank you very much and for those of you who need or would like to pay, we are here from 8 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday.  If you are new to the area, please stop by and have a visit with us.  We are always happy to make a new friend and possibly a new member to the Center.  We are located at 504 3rd Ave. East and would love to make your acquaintance.  We look forward to seeing you!

We would like to thank Joe Paulson for his donation of eggs month after month.  You truly know the meaning of giving and our Nutrition Program can’t thank you enough.  To our Super 1 benefactor, thank you for your generosity.  You are another one who gives from the heart.

There isn’t much going on right now, so if you have any suggestions for the newsletter, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.  You all have a really great week and enjoy this glorious weather and we’ll talk again soon.
