With only a week left, I hope that you have all of your Christmas shopping done. We will be closed on Christmas day, and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope that you enjoy the holidays. Last Thursday was our evening meal, and we had 62 people in attendance. We had the drawings for the baskets, and the winners were Beth Preston, Pat Cousins and Julie Decker. A big thanks to all who bought tickets and made donations. Wednesday, (18th) is the day of our Christmas dinner, and we are serving ham. Wednesday is also the day of the Foot Clinic, which starts at 10 a.m. and goes until noon. Our birthday dinner for December is on Friday, the 27th, so come on in and join us for a great meal of roast beef. The band will also be here for your listening pleasure. Our menu for the rest of the month is: Wed. (18th) is ham, Fri. (20th) is ham and bean soup, Mon. (23rd) is sausage gravy and biscuits, Wed. (25th) we are closed, Fri. (27th) is roast beef, and Mon. (30th) is beef stew. This past year has been a busy one here at the Center. With budget cuts, we have been receiving less funding and have had to rely more on raising the money to fund our programs. We would like to thank all you who have helped us with this. A special thanks to all of the volunteers who spent countless hours running these fund raisers. We could not have done it without you and your help is greatly appericated.
