*The following district court cases took place on Jan. 31
-State of Montana vs. Brian Johnston. This matter came before the court for adjudicatory hearing. State indicates defendant was on probation at time of four felonies. Defendant to serve 9 years in MSP.
-State of Montana vs. Stefanie One Horn. This matter came before the court for adjudicatory hearing. The state moves to dismiss without prejudice, will file a written motion to do so.
-State of Montana vs. Stefanie One Horn. This matter came before the court for adjudicatory hearing. Defendant is sentenced to 8 years DOC, 3 years suspended with credit for time served.
-State of Montana vs. Richard Lopez. This matter came before the court for adjudicatory hearing. Defendant is sentenced to 5 years MSP with credit for time served. Court will recommend the defendant have the opportunity for alcohol treatment.
-State of Montana vs. Jason Thompson. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant admits committing the offense of theft, a felony. Plea agreement is accepted by the court. Sentencing is scheduled for March 14, at 9:00 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Seth Nicholas Harpst. This matter came before the court for sentencing. For the offense of theft, a felony, the court defers imposition of sentence for six years. As conditions, defendant is ordered to serve 60 days in LCJ within 120 days of today’s date. 30 days of that time to be suspended if one half of the ordered restitution is paid within those 120 days.

-State of Montana vs. James Allen. This matter came before the Court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of assault on peace officer or judicial officer, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on March 20, at 9:00 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. William Witts. This matter before the court for change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of theft, a felony. The court finds the defendant guilty of charge.
-State of Montana vs. Steven Mikkelsen. These matters before the court for hearing on merits. The court commits defendant to DOC for ten years with five suspended. Defendant is to receive full credit for time in custody.

-Ranee Grace Trahan. Issuing a bad check, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 168 suspended, and credited 12 days.
-Adam Wickey, 32. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. Fined $300. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended.

-Ronald Printz, 70. Driving without a valid drivers license, a misdemeanor. Fined $250. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, third or subsequent offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $500. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended.
