Minne Roosma

Minne Roosma, 93, of Hot Springs was a retired math and science teacher in the Hot Springs Public High School for 30 years, a U.S. Army veteran, and a full time cattle rancher. He died of natural causes at his home on Jan. 24.

A memorial service will be held in the old gym at the Hot Springs Public High School on Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. with a potluck lunch following (salads and desserts requested). He will be greatly missed by his wife, Chloe Roosma, and four sons with their families, Sam Roosma of Hot Springs, Dirk Roosma of Hot Springs, Lou Roosma of Walla Walla, Wash., and Tom Roosma of East Sound, Wash. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the math and science departments at the Hot Springs High School in memory of Minne.
