St. Ignatius Class of ‘56 Reunion/75th Birthday Party

The Class of 1956 will meet Sat., July 20 at the high school parking lot at 10:00. Come find our float. A potluck BBQ will be held after the parade at Chuck’s. Call 745-4544 or 755-5850 for more details.

Ronan Class of 1973 40 Year Reunion

The Ronan Class of 1973 will be celebrating their 40 year class reunion during Pioneer Days this August 2, 3 & 4th.  Fun events are scheduled for each day.  For more information call Chris J at (406) 370-4066 or Peggy H at (406) 471-3897.

Mission Class of ‘63 Reunion

The Mission class of ‘63 will be celebrating its 50th year reunion during St. Ignatius Good Old Days, July 19 - 21. On Friday the 19th we will meet at Ron and LaVonne Olmsted’s to work on the float at 1:00 p.m.  That evening we will meet at Good Old Days Park for the Chamber of Commerce BBQ from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  On Saturday, those that wish to go may take part in the Pancake Breakfast at the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center from 7:00 a.m. - noon.  At 11:30 a.m. we will meet at the school parking lot to ride of the float.  After that there will be time for lunch at the Park.  At 2:00 p.m. there will be a tour of the school.  Any other classes that are meeting are welcome to join us.  We will be meeting at the Quad on the south side of the High School. After 3:00 p.m. we will be gathering at the Olmsted’s  for visiting and a picnic catered by the Amish. For more information call LaVonne at 745-3423.

Free Dinner at Polson Presbyterian Church

The July Friendship Table Dinner is coming up on July 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Polson Presbyterian Church is located across from the Linderman School.  Come join us! This dinner is free and open to all.

P.E.O. Brown Bag Picnic

P.E.O. Mission Mountain Reciprocity Group invites all P.E.O. members to its annual Brown-Bag Lunch at Boettcher Park, Tuesday, July 16th at 12:00 noon.  This no-host picnic welcomes all P.E.O. members who may be visiting the area, along with members of local Chapters AI, BY, BS, AND CA. P.E.O. is an international philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women by providing educational scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College.

Polson Class of 1983 Reunion

PHS Class of 1983 thirtieth high school class reunion will be held July 19 and 20 in Polson.  Classmates still needing to register please call 270-5802.  PHS Class of ‘83 parents, teachers, and schoolmates please join us 8p.m. Saturday, July 20 at KwaTaqNuk.

Lake County Greens Workshop

The Lake County Greens would like to invite the public to a workshop featuring Rev. Sam Smith, Chair of the FOR (Fellowship of Reconciliation) Chicago Chapter and an FOR Freeman Fellow. The workshop will be on The Militarization of American Youth and the “I Will NOT Kill” campaign. Please come to Sacajawea Park in Polson, look for our tent and colorful banner on July 14, 2013. Refreshments at 5:00 pm, workshop at 5:30 pm. July 14th is always warm and nice in the shade by the lake but we may find a better location (Plan B) in Polson which would be less dependent on nice weather. Ronan Tennis Camp

There will be a free tennis camp for ages 6 - 18 at the Ronan Tennis Courts. The courts are located directly behind Ronan High School. The camp will run Tuesday, July 16 through Firday, July 19. Session one will run from 8:00 - 10:00 for ages 6 -10. Session two will take place from 10:00 - 12:00 for ages 11 -18. Participants may register by calling Mike or Stacey Ellis at 676-3269. Equipment will be provided. All participants are required to bring a water bottle.

Blood Draw

St. Luke Community Hospital will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Draw on Thursday, July 25, from 11:30am-5pm, on the second floor of the hospital. For an appointment please call Cindy Smith at 528-5269.

Human Rights Lecture

The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition is sponsoring Dr. George Price in a presentation titled “From the Earth: the true colors of humanity” on July 17 at Mission Valley UMC, at the top of Post Creek Hill, beginning at 6 p.m. with a potluck.
