District Court, Judge McNeil presiding
*The following took place on June 5.
-Montana vs. Micah Ashby. This matter before the court for sentencing. The court commits the defendant to DOC for placement in an appropriate facility for five years, all suspended on Count I and on Count II defendant is committed to DOC for one year with all suspended except five days. Defendant is to receive credit for time served, resulting in no jail time.
-Montana vs. Kimberly Joseph. This matter before the court to answer petition to revoke. Defendant intends to admit some of the allegations. Admissions are sufficient and suspended sentence is revoked. The Court commits the defendant to the DOC for four years, no part of which is suspended. Defendant is to receive credit for time served.
-Montana vs. David Hall. This matter before the court for change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for July 10.
-Montana vs. Leeann Reynolds. This matter before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of burglary, a felony, count I. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on July 17 with a jury trial commencing on Sept. 16.
-Montana vs. Lyman Ferguson. This matter before the court for sentencing. The court commits the defendant to DOC for five years with four years suspended. The defendant is to receive credit for time in custody. Count II is dismissed.
District Court, Judge Christopher presiding
*The following took place on June 6.
-Montana vs. James Dempsey. This matter before the court to answer petition to revoke. Admissions are sufficient to satisfy the petition. Suspended sentence is revoked. Defendant sentenced to three years in first case, two years in second case. Credit to be given for time served. Original conditions reimposed.
-Montana vs. Shilo Brown. This matter before the court for sentencing. Sentence of the court is: Count I, II, and III, assault on a peace office, each count 10 years with 5 suspended to run concurrent. Count IV, assault with a weapon, 10 years all suspended. Count V, criminal endangerment, 10 years with 5 suspended.
-Montana vs. Lawrance Stevens. This matter before the court for omnibus hearing. Defendant pleads guilty to DUI, fourth offense, a felony. The court sets this matter for sentencing on July 25.
