District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following took place on June 19.

-Montana vs. Brian Johnston. This matter before the court for sentencing. Before recommendations, defense calls witness to stand. On court II, incest, the court sentences the defendant to MSP for 100 years and the defendant shall be ineligible for parole for a period of 25 years. On count III, incest, the court sentences the defendant to MSP for 100 years and the defendant shall be ineligible for parole for the first 25 years. On count IV, solicitation, the court sentences the defendant to MSP for 100 years and the defendant shall be ineligible for the first 25 years. On count V, sexual abuse of children, the court sentences the defendant to MSP for 100 years and the defendant shall be ineligible for parole for the first 25 years. The defendant is designated a Level III offender and high risk to re-offend sex offender. He shall forfeit any income while at MSP towards payment of the expenses of the victim. Defendant is to receive credit for time in custody. The court orders defendant will be 88 years old before he is eligible for parole.

-Montana vs. Darrel William Kehoe. This matter before the court for sentencing. The court commits the defendant to DOC for five years all of which are suspended. Defendant is ordered to participate in SCRAM for one year, set to start on July 1.

-Montana vs. Antoine Carman. This matter before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of theft, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Sept. 11 with a jury trial commencing on Nov. 18.

-Montana vs. Jamie Finley. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of kidnapping, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on July 17 with a jury trial commencing on Sept. 16.

-Montana vs. John Steele. This matter before the court for a status hearing. Defendant makes sufficient admissions and suspended sentence is revoked. The court commits the defendant to DOC for five years and recommends defendant be placed in an in-patient chemical dependency treatment program. Defendant is to receive credit for time served.
