District Court, Judge Christopher presiding
*The following took place on Mar. 14
-State of Montana vs. Daryl Gebeau. This matter came before the Court for sentencing. For the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 13 months. In addition, the defendant shall be sentenced to the DOC for two years, all suspended.
-State of Montana vs. Jason Thompson. This matter came before the court for sentencing. For the offense of theft, a felony, the court defers imposition of sentence for three years.
-State of Montana vs. Brandon Ferguson. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of improper influence in official and political matter, count I, II, III, IV, & V, felonies, and assault with bodily fluid, count VI & VII, misdemeanors. The court sets this matter for an omnibus hearing on April 25 with a jury trial commencing on June 10.
-State of Montana vs. Lawrance Stevens. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for an omnibus hearing on May 23 with a jury trial commencing on July 8.
-State of Montana vs. Ricky Dennison. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of partner family member assault, count I, a felony, and partner family member assault, count II, a misdemeanor. The court sets this matter for an omnibus hearing on May 23 with a jury trial commencing on July 8.
-State of Montana vs. Marcus Hendrickson. This matter came before the court for change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, count II and III, misdemeanors. The court sentences the defendant to the LCJ for six months for each count, all suspended, with the sentences running consecutive to one another.

-State of Montana vs. Jeremy Amaya. This matter came before the court for sentencing on revocation. The court sentences the defendant to the MSP for 15 years with 10 years suspended. Defendant is to receive credit for all time spent in custody as well as one year for probation but not in custody.
-State of Montana vs. Michael Sanford. This matter before the court for sentencing. The court commits the defendant to DOC for four years, with two years suspended.
-State of Montana vs. Thurston James. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of burglary, a felony, count I; criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, count II; and partner or family member assault, a misdemeanor, count II. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on May 29 with a jury trial commencing on July 29.
-State of Montana vs. Robert Sherman. This matter came before the court for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of person required to register, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on May 29 with a jury trial commencing on July 29.
-State of Montana vs. Ronald Goodsell. This matter before the court for change of plea. Defendant enters guilty plea and admit committing the offense of failure to give notice of change of address by sexual or violent offender, a felony, count I. Sentencing is set for April 17.
-State of Montana vs. Tiffany Ortega. This matter before the court for change of plea. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony, count I. Sentencing is set for April 17.
-State of Montana vs. Micah Ashby. This matter before the court for change of plea. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony, count I, and the offense of partner or family member assault, a misdemeanor, count II. Sentencing is set for April 17.
-State of Montana vs. Michael Brown. This matter came before the court for a hearing on merits. The defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The court commits the defendant to DOC for 9 years, with half suspended on both counts to run concurrent with each other.
