Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Forum
Confused about Obamacare and the health exchanges?
Have your questions addressed at the Affordable Care Act Forum sponsored by the Lake County Democrats.
The presentation seeks to help Montanans understand how the law works and answer questions or concerns about Obamacare, including new insurance reforms and the healthcare exchanges.
The program will be on Wednesday, October 16, at the Late Louie Caye Building at the Salish Kootenai College in Pablo.
Social begins at 6:30pm followed at 7:00pm by a brief business meeting and the program.
Presenters are: Jesse Laslovich, Chief Legal Counsel for the Montana State Auditors Office; James Kiser, Administrator, St Joseph Medical Center; Steve Todd, Administrator, St Luke Community Health Care. Public is welcome.
Clothing give away
Free Clothing give away at St. Ignatius Community Center, Saturday Oct. 5 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday Oct. 6 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Flu Vaccine Clinic
Health Care Plus will be holding a flu vaccine clinic Friday, Oct. 11 from 8:30- 11:30 a.m. at the medical equipment center on 7th and Main in Polson. Free coffee and donuts will be served.
Annual Popcorn Sale
David Orr, the Silvertip District Popcorn Chairperson wishes to announce the local Silvertip District Cub Scouts’ annual popcorn sale starts Sept. 28 and ends Oct. 20.
Scouts will be going door-to-door taking orders for the popcorn.

The North Lake County Public Library will be hosting a special hour story time for children 3-5 and their caregivers. It will be every Thursday @10AM and 1PM.
