Swim team to announce name

POLSON – The Mission Valley Aquatics Center’s swim team will unveil its team name on Sunday, Oct. 27 at its fall kick-off event.

The information session, which begins at 2 p.m. at the newly built facility in Polson will also inform interested parties about the swim team and serve as a tryout for group placement, according to coach Mark Johnston.

“We will also discuss the high school and masters (adult) components of our team,” Johnston wrote in an email.

The team will begin practice on November 12. Johnston added that more information is available on the Mission Valley Aquatics Facebook page.
