POLSON — The Spokane man who assisted in the burglary of the Ronan Subway last October pleaded guilty to a felony charges in Lake County District Court last week. According to court records, Jesus Lopez III, 22, admitted to his role as the getaway driver in the theft of over $700 from the store on Oct. 26, 2012. Lopez aided Santiago Quintana, a Subway employee tasked with closing the store that night. Quintana allegedly tampered with the door and entered twenty minutes later to steal the money, before being picked up by Lopez. In April, Quintana received a deferred three-year sentence for felony burglary charges.
