*The following took place on Thursday, April 10
-Douglas Whitewater, 24, of Polson, had a two-year deferred sentence revoked for a probation violation.

He was sentenced to five years in prison.
-Matthew Darnell, of Polson, appeared in court for arraignment on the charges of felony burglary, two counts of felony attempted burglary and felony theft. The court found him guilty on all charges.
An affidavit states that Darnell was wanted in Lake County for his reported involvement in a string of robberies beginning on Jan. 19 at the Ronan Airport. Owners of a 2000 Dodge Ram reported that the lock had been cut off their hangar and the truck stolen out of it. On that same day, a 1988 Porsche was reported stolen from the Ronan Airport.
On Jan. 21, burglar alarms were triggered at Ronan Sports and Western, Depoe Junction in Polson and Westland Seed in Ronan, the latter of which Lake County authorities discovered a Chevrolet Impala, still running, driven through the door of the building. Several guns were reported stolen from Westland Seed, including a .50 caliber rifle, a Tec 9 mm handgun, a Remington 700 7 mm rifle, a Remington 1900 12-gauge shotgun, two Winchester Model 12 12-gauge shotguns and a Winchester Model 12 16-gauge shotgun.
On Jan. 23, Darnell was arrested in Adams County, Wash. with accomplice Mariah Dempsey for an unrelated offense. Other alleged accomplices Thomas Dempsey and Terry Douma were also arrested in Adams County, Wash. on unrelated charges. After Adams County, Wash. and Lake County authorities interviewed the suspects, they learned that the four suspects had sold the stolen Porsche and several guns to a man called Cobra. Darnell was allegedly hired by Thomas Dempsey, who offered to pay him $400 to be the driver for the job. The stolen Porsche and several of the guns were recovered by Adams County, Wash. authorities.
