Maidens take own tournament

RONAN — Missoula Loyola had the medalists while team titles went to Ronan’s girls and the boys from Thompson Falls on Tuesday at the Ronan Invitational golf tournament.

Sadie Crippen of Loyola had the low round for girls with her 85. She finished 14 shot ahead of Jacey Probst of Ronan.

Maddie Lorang of Bigfork tied for third with a 104.

Ronan tallied a 445 score to finish well ahead of runner-up Seeley-Swan with a 474.

Jared Geer edged teammate Tommy Tirrell by one stroke with his winning round of 74.

Thompson Falls, with a 335 total, edged Deer Lodge and Loyola by a stroke to finish first.
