Skylar Frame, of St. Ignatius, was awarded a buckle from the Montana Red Angus Association for her Grand Champion Breeding Beef and Grand Champion Carcass Beef.

Also awarded a buckle, was Tristan Thinglestad, Ronan, for his Reserve Champion Breeding Beef.

Every year, the Montana Red Angus Association awards youth who win Grand or Reserve Champion at their county fair.

Their winner must be a purebred or a Red Angus influenced beef project in one of three categories: market, carcass, or breeding.

This year, the Montana Red Angus Association awarded forty four buckles to youth throughout the state of Montana.

The buckles are presented each year during the Red Angus NILE activities.
