Light of the World Celebration this week

POLSON – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will host an open house from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6 and 7.

The two-day free Light of the World Celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ will feature an extensive Nativity display that will showcase a large collection of Nativity sets gathered from participants and collected from a variety of places around the world. Local artists and choirs will offer participants a musical performance at 6 p.m., Saturday and a Christmas message, featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
