ARLEE — Mission-Charlo state champion Jacen Petersen remained undefeated in the hot match of the night, taking down Big Sky’s Luke Entzel—Class AA’s 170-pound state champion—in overtime to win 2-0. It was only the second match of the season in which Petersen didn’t pin his opponent.

Numerous other area grapplers earned victories by pin.

RONAN — The Pirates wrestled a victory from their cross-county rival Ronan’s senior night thanks to pins from Carlos Quinones, Alex Helgeson, Tel Motichka, Mike Corrigan and Isaiah Williams.

Seniors Chase Rhine, Connor Benn and Brandon Dumont each merited pins for the Chiefs, as did underclassmen Graydon Irish and Lauren Christopher.
