SKC in need of volunteers for tournament

PABLO — Salish Kootenai College is seeking volunteers to work game clocks and scorebooks or assist with the front gate at the 2014 American Indian Higher Education Consortium’s National Basketball Championship Tournament, which will be held at SKC’s Joe McDonald Gym on Feb. 27-March 2.

The tournament will feature more than 27 men’s and women’s teams from various tribal colleges. Games will run from 8 a.m. to roughly 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Potential volunteers for the scorer’s table should contact Student Activities and Gym Director Juan Perez (juan_perez@skc.edu).
