St. Ignatius

The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center has changed the dates of its January evening meals from the first and third Wednesdays of the month to the third and fifth Wednesdays of the month for February only.  

The center’s annual meeting will be held in the center on Tuesday, Jan. 14 during the lunch hour. Reports will be given and board members will be elected during that meeting. The center will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the holiday.

Bingo is played after almost every lunch. Lunches begin at 12-noon.  Quilters quilt in the center most Mondays and Thursdays.

We will be closed on January 1st for the holiday, but will be open again on Friday.

Our monthly board meeting will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6th. If you are on the board, or an alternate, please attend this meeting as there is a lot of business to go over.

Our Thursday evening meal is at 5 pm, on the 9th. We will be serving pork roast.

The Foot Clinic is here at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the 15th, and cards will be here at 1 p.m. on Monday, the 20th.

Our birthday dinner for January is on Friday, the 31st, and we will be serving roast beef.

After the first of the year, we are going to start having movies on Mondays, crafts will resume on Wednesdays and Bing-O on Fridays. These will all take place following the noon meal.

Our menu for the following week:

Wed. (1st) we are closed, Fri. (3rd) is pizza, Mon. (6th) is BBQ meatballs, Wed. (8th) is calico beans, Thus. (9th) is pork roast at 5 p.m., Fri. (10th) is lasagna.
