| January 24, 2014 1:37 PM

Marguerite Winona Gordon passed away peacefully Dec. 31 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Ronan at the age of 93. Marguerite was born in Seattle, Wash. on April 29, 1920.

She and her mother, Emily, moved to Juneau, Alaska in the 1930’s where she graduated from high school.  She met her husband Robert at the local ice cream parlor.  She often remarked how all these kids that came after would never have happened without this chance encounter.  Marguerite and Robert were married for over 60 years.

She is survived by her son Robert D. Gordon of Winnemucca, Nev. and daughter Judith Langdale of Polson.  Her family includes nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Emily Espey and by her loving husband, Robert A. Gordon and grandson, Keith Gordon.

She will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind, loving person with a positive approach to life.  She will truly be missed!  At Marguerite’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory. Messages of condolence may be shared with the family online at www.groganfuneralhome.com.
