Arlee -- One man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after both were ejected during a roll-over accident around noon July 12.

Stacey Twoteeth, 47, of Missoula was airlifted to St. Patrick hospital in Missoula in critical condition, said Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Randy Owen.

The man, who was not named, died at the scene. The deceased man was a 26-year-old Arlee man who was born in 1988.

The two were traveling on Jocko Road near Cold Water Lane about two miles south of Arlee in a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck when it drifted off to the right, over-corrected, and traveled through a canal, hit a power pole, rolled end-over-end and came to rest without its occupants, he said.

An investigation is underway and it is not known yet who was driving the car.

Owens said investigators are looking at several factors in the crash.
