*The following took place on Wednesday, March 19

-Farrah Hameline, 35, of Big Arm appeared in court for arraignment on the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony and hearing on an identical charge. She pleaded not guilty to the new charges.

Hameline was arrested in April 2013 and charged with one count of the crime. She was arrested again on Feb. 13 after being stopped for a traffic violation. Tribal police found a bag containing a pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue and two marijuana pipes under the front seat.

For the first charge, she was sentenced to six years in the custody of the department of corrections with one year suspended.

-Tamera Couture, 56, of Pablo appeared in court for a change of plea. On the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs – fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, Couture changed her plea to guilty.

Court documents state that in November, Couture allegedly operated a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license after consuming a pint of vodka. She was also reportedly in possession of 43 Lortab pills in her pockets, and her urine tested positive for opiates.

Following the charges, the court revoked Couture’s previous probation on the same charges from 2007.

Sentencing for both the most recent charges and the probation revocation were set for Wednesday, April 23.

-Ronald Long, 58, of Polson, appeared in court to accept a plea bargain for his pending charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony.

An affidavit states Long was arrested on Sept. 6, 2013 by CKST Tribal Police and Montana Highway Patrol after appearing to be drunk when leaving the Subway in Ronan. Following a tip, a tribal officer pulled him over on Highway 93 just north of town after observing an unspecified traffic violation.

Sentencing has been set for Wednesday, May 7.

-Richard Bleick, 44, of Ronan, appeared in court to accept a plea agreement for one count of felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

An affidavit states that on July 24, 2012, Bleick was pulled over on Stinger Road after being reported a suspicious vehicle. Bleick, the driver of the car, allegedly lied about his identity. After a vehicle search, a Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy located numerous items of drug paraphernalia and some pills which have been sent to the state crime lab for further investigation.

Sentencing was reset for Wednesday, April 23 at 9 a.m.

-Michael Buck, 55, of Ronan, appeared in to accept a plea agreement on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony.

Court records state that Buck was arrested Dec. 24 after he was pulled over for a traffic violation. He was determined to be driving under the influence.

The court has set sentencing for Wednesday, April 23 at 9 a.m.

-Jon Wrede, 42, of Ronan, appeared in court to accept a plea agreement on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony.

Court records indicate that Wrede was arrested in by Mission Dam in St. Ignatius on March 14, 2013 when he got his SUV stuck on rocks attempting to run from a tribal officer. Wrede was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and had a blood-alcohol content of .018 percent at the time of his breath test.

Sentencing in the trial was set for Wednesday, April 30 at 9 a.m.

-Gregg Webster, 48, of Polson, appeared in court for sentencing on the charges of criminal endangerment, a felony, and driving without a valid license, a misdemeanor.

The charges stemmed from an incident on June 11, when court records state that Webster was pulled over in Pablo by a Tribal Police Officer who was aware from a previous traffic stop that the defendant’s license was suspended. After initiating another traffic stop, the officer noticed Webster appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Webster then failed field sobriety tests and was also found to be in possession of a bottle of hydrocodone pills.

The court deferred imposition of the sentence for three years and dropped the misdemeanor charges. Webster was also recommended for a probationary license.

-Natasha Blixt, 22, of Pablo, appeared in court for sentencing on the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony.

Blixt was charged in connection to an October incident in which she allegedly stole prescription hydrocodone pills from a Polson resident after claiming that her car had run out of gas and asking to come inside to use the phone and bathroom. The court deferred imposition of the sentence for three years on the conditions of a plea agreement that included probation.

Jackson was ordered to pay the balance owed or face criminal charges. Records indicate that Jackson reached an agreement in August 2013 “agreeing to pay the full $18,000 by making payments of $500 a week until the balance was paid” but paid only $6,050 before failing to continue payment.
