Cowboy ball fun for all
POLSON — Supporters of the Polson Fairgrounds gathered Friday for the annual Cowboy Ball, a Western-themed fundraiser that serves as the fairgrounds’ primary effort each year.
According to Fairgrounds Secretary Una Rose Graham, the ball hosted more than 300 people in its 24th year.
“We had lots of great donations from the community and lots of great support,” Graham said.
She added that the money raised at the ball will, as always, go toward facility upgrades and maintenance. Replacing some of the livestock pens lies at the top of this year’s docket. Last year’s big project was renovating the grandstand.
Graham said she doesn’t know quite how much money the ball raised, but she expects good news.
e all of our expenses in, but it was a good fundraiser for us,” she said.
Polson Fairgrounds hosts several outdoor events each year, spanning from rodeos to 5k runs.
