Eunice Marie Maher

 Eunice Marie Maher, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 3 at St. Luke Extended Care Facility in Ronan. Eunice was born April 21, 1939 in Chester, Mont. She was one of five children born to Alta Rudolph and Fredrick Maher. Most of her schooling was in Chester. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and spent many years working in that career until her health started to fail. Her hobbies were working in her yard and garden. She spent many enjoyable hours playing Scrabble with one of her best friends, Dorothy Burnham. Her passion was reading Westerns. Survivors include one sister, Fern Rigney of Spokane, and numerous relatives and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Robert and sisters Violet and Velma. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 9 a.m. at the Shrider-Thompson Funeral Chapel in Ronan with Pastor Kenny Prewett officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Shrider-Thompson Funeral and Cremation Services of Ronan.
