WHAT: RHS TO PRESENT ‘ROMEO AND JULIET’

DETAILS: Ronan High School Drama Department presents the Shakespeare play “Romeo and Juliet.” General admission tickets will be available soon.

WHAT: PORT POLSON PLAYERS’ “ONCE UPON A MATTRESS”

WHEN: May 16-18 and 23-25.

WHERE: John Dowdall Theatre

DETAILS: Premiering in 1959, “Once Upon a Mattress” is the show that launched the career of Carol Burnett. Songs include “Shy,” “Happily Ever After,” “Normandy,” “In a Little While” and haunting “Yesterday I Loved You.”

The show is produced by Port Polson Players in association with Mission Valley Friends of the Arts.

DETAILS: The city of Polson will do its curbside pick up of bagged leaves and pruned branches.

DETAILS: Community Bank will sponsor its annual Community After-tax Shred Day. The mobile shred truck will be on location to shred personal documents for free (limit two boxes).  Polson Police will accept and safely dispose of any presciptions and/or prescription bottles.

WHAT: SPRING MACK DAYS AWARDS CEREMONY

WHEN: March 14 through May 18 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with May 9 through May 18 being 10 consecutive fishing days.

DETAILS: The CSKT will sponsor the event with up to $150,000 in cash and prizes. A fish fry for participants and their families will be held May 18 at 3 p.m. at Blue Bay with the award ceremony at 4 p.m.
