Final decision on wastewater plant

The City will be making the final determination on which waste water treatment facility we are going to build at the City Commission meeting on Nov. 17, 7 pm at City hall.
We want to inform the community that this meeting will take place. For updated information about this project from our engineering team and the mayor, please visit the City’s website (www.cityofpolson.com) or go to City Hall to request hard copies of the information. We will not be making additional rate increases at this meeting, but determining which option of equipment we will be using to build the facility. The options range from $14.8 million to $18.9 million. The option chosen will affect rates.
Your input and perspectives are welcome. Please contact the City (883-8200), the Mayor (883-8205), or your Ward representatives to share information or discuss. Any comments received prior to the meeting will be shared with commissioners.
