The Mission Valley Christian Academy in Polson hosted a Grandparents Appreciation Day on Nov. 15. The students performed for the visiting grandparents before breaking into groups to read, exchange questions about school and life and share lunch. “There are lots of grandparents here and they had lots of good info for high schoolers about high school and life,” said Brenden Conrad, a 17-year-old senior. “They talked about life after college. Life doesn’t stop there. You’re still growing and learning and getting tested.” Ten-year-old Anna, a fifth-grader, said the grandparents in one of her groups shared their high school nicknames with the kids. Her favorite was “Red Riding Hood.” See more on A3.
