The Ronan Library celebrated its 100th anniversary last week with a daily project supported by volunteers. On Friday, 14 kids and volunteers made 51 gift bags, one for each resident at St. Luke’s Extended Care Facility right down the street. “I have to tell you, this was my favorite activity of the week,” said library director Michelle Fenger. She walked to the care facility with child volunteers Devin, Sunniva, Francheska and volunteer Deb Demarais and handed out the gift bags to all 51 residents. “It was very heartwarming to see the young kids interacting with the residents.  There were lots of smiles,” she said.
