Business teeming in Lake County
LAKE COUNTY – The holiday season will be just a little nicer in Lake County this year thanks to the teeming business environment.
The Mission Market, a south Lake County staple for 11 years is celebrating its anniversary Oct. 25 with free hot dogs and a 10 percent discount storewide.
The market is a well-stocked with outstandingly priced mecca of bulk and discount groceries, high-end cheeses, meats, jams and jellies, household items and needle craft supplies, among other items.
The friendly staff members are on hand throughout the store to offer help and advice to customers, whether they are looking for sweet salami or sewing machine bobbins.
“It’s our anniversary but it’s also a customer appreciation day,” said Delbert Bontrager, Mission Market Owner.
“We started that because instead of taking from the customers we like to give back,” he said.
Along with the hot dogs and store-wide discount, Bontrager said the anniversary celebration will feature samplings of cheese, jams and jellies.
“We think it’s a very good product. It’s a customer appreciation day and everybody benefits.”
