Pirate golfers were inviting

The Polson golf team hosted the Polson Invitational at the scenic Polson Golf Course with eight teams in attendance Sept. 4.

Reno Lindesmith tied for third with a 79 for the best Polson boys score, with a trio of other Pirates trailing the leaders in the 80s and Carson McDaniel coming in ninth.

For the Polson girls, Heather Franck and Peyton Anderson placed among the top 5.

The Polson golf team is scheduled to play at the Meadowlake Golf Course on Tuesday, slated to tee off at the Libby Invitational this Friday, then Frenchtown next week held at the Missoula Country Club.  The Polson JV team played at East Glacier this past Friday and is scheduled to tee off in Stevensville on Thursday.

The Polson golf team participated in the two day, two venue Missoula Invitational on August 25th thru 26th, the opening rounds held at the Larchmont Golf Course and wrapping up the second day at the Canyon River Golf Club.
