The first Mission Valley Christian Invitational soccer tournament was a great success with Summit Preparatory School prevailing as the champions in a fiercely contested final match against the Sting for a final score of 3 to 1. Both teams had numerous shots on goal throughout which well could have tilted the outcome either way. Montana Academy won the third-place game against the Eureka Soccer Club to round out the competition.
