XC teams hit the links

At Missoula, the Mission Valley cross country teams all competed at the Mountain West Cross Country Meet held at the Univeristy of Montana Golf Course.

 The Polson girls placed 26th overall, but were 5th among Class A teams despite being without one of their top freshman Ryan Harrop.

The Polson boys were running without Warren Wood in attendance, but each runner managed to turn in a PR time.

 Ronan and Saint Ignatius were the other teams that competed in the varsity race, but like Polson, also had some runners competing in the junior varsity segment.

 Class C schools Arlee and Charlo both had their runners competing in the junior varsity segment.

 Charlo’s Dalton Delaney had the best time of any of the runners competing from the Mission Valley, posting a 54th place finish in the JV race.  Polson will host the Polson Invitational this Saturday the 27th at the Polson Fairgrounds with St.

 Ignatius scheduled to attend from among the Mission Valley XC teams, while Ronan, Arlee and Charlo are scheduled to attend the Frenchtown Invitational in Frenchtownon Saturday the 27th.
