Entertainment slated for Fair Share
Entertainment by various groups, activities for children and information about community service resources throughout the Flathead Valley will be featured during Share Fair 2015, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at the Kalispell Center Mall.
The theme for this annual community event is “Strengthening Community Connections.” Entertainment throughout the day, a children’s parade and local participation in the Million March Against Child Abuse are highlights of the day’s activities.
There will be a special activity area for young children: the Kid Zone, sponsored by the Flathead Association for the Education of the Young Child, the Nurturing Center and Flathead City County Public Health as part of a Parents As Teachers project.
Representatives of community service agencies from throughout the Flathead Valley will be represented. Community health and human service agencies, non-profit organizations, clubs and service organizations will display information and answer questions about their agencies and services to the community.
Share Fair also features activities for children and entertainment for adults. Face painting and balloons will be offered to children of all ages throughout the day.
Organizers encourage Flathead Valley residents to visit Share Fair to learn about the services that are available in the valley, visit with representatives of various groups or sign up to volunteer.
