Farmers, ranchers matter

Montana’s farmers and ranchers matter.  Our agricultural economy matters.  People’s ability to breathe clean air matters.  

Montana’s outdoor heritage matters.  Healthy forests matter.  

The safety of our firefighters matters.  That’s why it’s a relief that EPA finally adopted a plan to tackle climate changing pollution from power plants.  

I’m thankful that Governor Bullock and Senator Tester both understand the need to address climate change.  

I just wish Representative Zinke and Senator Daines were more concerned about it.  Jobs for the sake of jobs or just plain pofiteering are not justified when they lead to deteriorating landscapes and unhealthy living conditions.
