TAYLOR SHAE DAVIS

| August 26, 2015 9:47 AM

On August 17, Taylor Shae Davis, 18, of Polson, passed away. Her beautiful blue eyes and infectious smile will forever be held in our hearts.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1996 to Dean Davis and Denise Amundson.  She graduated from Polson High School in 2015.  As early as two weeks old she was in the gymnasium cheering on her Aunt Darci, brother Derek and sister Diana.

Growing up she was involved in soccer, softball, volleyball and track. She had many friends that she always wanted to spend time with, making sure she could get them to laugh by making silly faces and with her sense of humor.  She loved nature and enjoyed hiking and being at the lake with her dogs, Onyx, Koda, Sinbad and Lucy.

Friends would say she was very supportive and encouraging. She always made sure other people’s happiness was a priority over her own and was always there for them if needed. Her great love for animals (horses especially) started at a very young age.  This endless compassion and unconditional love carried through all aspects of her life.

She had a knack for always being right, or at least convincing you that she was.

She stood up for herself and others when the situation arose or just being a voice of reason if needed. She would make sacrifices no matter the cost to herself if it meant helping someone else.

It was amazing how much spunk, love and compassion fit into that little body.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents George and Minnie Davis, Ray and Frankie Boettcher, Arnold Amundson, her grandfather Ernie Davis, her sister Dara Davis, and her cousin KC Hutchin.

Survivors include her parents Dean Davis and Denise Amundson, brother Derek Davis  (Jess), sister Diana Davis-Hughes (Chris), her grandparents Arlyn and Karen Amundson, Erma Davis Prier (Gil), her great grandmother Isabelle Amundson-Dougherty, her aunts and uncles Danyel McCrea (Randy), Darci Amundson (Josh), Gayle Rose (Ray), Dana Blush (Kenny), her cousins Marissa and Colton McCrea, her nieces and nephews Landyn, Harper, Sawyer and Palmer Hughes, Brittian and Maddy Davis and her love Wyatt DuCharme, along with her many friends and family that she held dear to her heart.

Her Celebration of Life was held on August 22 at 2 p.m. at the Polson High School Auditorium with a reception following in the High School Commons. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Taylor Davis memorial fund that will be used to help local community outreach programs.  Donations may be made out to Karen Amundson and can be deposited at the Whitefish Credit Union under the Taylor Davis Memorial Fund.
