ROBERT AND JEAN CRECELIUS

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held in Polson at the Polson Presbyterian Church on Sunday, July 12 at 3 p.m. for Robert and Jean Crecelius.

Robert passed away Feb. 18, 2015 at the age of 92 in New Braunfels, Texas.  Jean preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2012 in Houston, Texas.  They had been married for 67 years.  They were both interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on March 9, 2015.  Robert was given full military honors as a Colonel in the US Army. 

Robert was raised in Polson but left for college and the Army in World War II.  He met Jean while stationed at Fort Benning, Ga. They built a home in Polson in 1995 on family land.  They loved the many friends they made here and the life they were able to have here in Polson.

To celebrate their lives and the legacy they left to their four children, their children will be hosting a dinner after the services at the family home on Turtle Lake Road.  They hope many of their parents’ friends will be able to join them in celebrating the lives of two special people.
