Flathead Lake Boat Tours will host an afternoon cruise aboard the Far West to one of the Biological Station’s Flathead Lake monitoring sites. The Kootenai Tribe will host its 36th annual Ksanka Standing Arrow Powwow this weekend at Elmo Powwow Grounds.
good old days
The 33rd Annual St. Ignatius Good Old Days will be held in different locations. The Mission Mountain Pageant will begin at 2 p.m. July 17 at the grade school gymnasium. The barbeque will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dessert contest will be judged at 5 p.m. Entries must be received between 4 and 5 p.m.
Music will begin at 7:30 p.m. The Buffalo Run breakfast will run between 7 and 11 a.m. at the Senior Center. The parade begins at noon. Afternoon events will be held at Good Old Days Park.

The 2015 Buffalo Run will begin at 8 a.m.July 18 on Main Street in St. Ignatius. Entries forms are available at stlukehealthnet.org.
Cherry festival

The Polson Main Street Cherry Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 18 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 19. Flathead cherries, vendors and a variety of entertainment options will be available. For more information call 406-883-3667.
mission fly in
The St. Ignatius Airport will host its annual Fly-In from 8 a.m. to noon. Organizers plan a huckleberry pancake breakfast and Youth Eagle Flights. Children between eight and 17 years old can get a free airplane ride. Call 406-544-2274.

The Ronan City Council meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Ronan City Hall. The bi-monthly meeting is held on the first and third Monday of each month.
baseball tourney
The Mission Valley Mariners will host the Western A district tournament at its field in Polson July 23.
hoopfest in polson
The Flathead Lake 3-on-3 Hoop Shoot will host its 23rd annual event on Main Street in Polson July 24 and 25. In all, 300 teams will play in the event, and proceeds will be donated back to the community including $1,000 to Chamber Beautification. Tournament games begin at 5 p.m. July 24 and at 9 a.m. July 25 and 26.

The KwaTaqNuk will host a concert as part of its Summer Concert Series at the KwaTaqNuk beginning at 8 p.m. July 9.
HARLEY MOVIE
On July 9 The Museum of America will host “Harley Davidson – The American Motorcycle” a 73-minute documentary on the the history of cycling. Museum of America guided tours will be available. For information call 883-6264. Miracle of America Museum has live history days July 18-19.
FREE DINNER
Polson Presbyterian Church will host the Friendship Table Dinner from 5 p.m. July 10. Polson Presbyterian Church is located across from Linderman Elementary School. Dinner is free and open to the public.
Poker paddle
The Flathead Lake Watershed Protectors will host the first Poker Paddle at noon July 12. The poker paddle will feature kayakers, canoers, paddle boarders or other human-propelled watercraft enthusiasts who will play poker at each stop they make along the course, enjoy a catered picnic and take in live entertainment.
