Polson superintendent Linda Reksten to retire next year

Linda Reksten, Polson School District superintendent, has announced her plans to retire next year.

During a board meeting June 30, Reksten submitted a letter to the trustees announcing her plans to retire at the conclusion of her existing contract and not seek an extension. Her contract ends in June 2016.  Trustees voted unanimously to accept the letter and will meet later in the summer to discuss plans for a replacement. 

Reksten has been superintendent for three years.
