Junior golf camp set at Polson Bay Golf Course

The Polson junior golf camp is scheduled for June 16, 18 and 19 at the Polson Bay Golf Course. The goal of the camp is to provide instruction to youth in the area.
A few of the topics that will be covered include safety, etiquette, putting, chipping, and full swing. The camp is open to youth ages first through eighth grade and includes a free t-shirt and certificate upon completion. Youth are not required to have their own clubs to participate in the camp, but golfers are welcome to use their own if they prefer.
On June 20, the Pitch, Putt, and Drive contest will be from 2-4:30 p.m., and includes a potluck barbecue and awards presentation from 4:30-6 p.m. To sign your child up for the camp, email your child’s grade, gender, phone number, and what you will be providing for the potluck to polsonbaygolfcourse@gmail.com or call the course at 883-8230.
On June 21, the Polson Bay Golf Course is holding the 19th annual Father’s Day scholarship scramble at 8 a.m. The event’s format is a two-person scramble with three separate flights that include parent and child, husband and wife, and an open flight. The event is limited to the first 144 players signed up. The cost is $40 per pass holder and $55 per non-pass holder and includes golf, prizes, and lunch.
Polson Bay Golf Course is hosting the Montana State Golf Association State Junior tournament on June 23-24. Over 100 juniors from all over the state will compete in different age divisions for the overall title as the best state junior golfer. The course is looking for volunteers to help with the tournament.
The Glacier Bank two-person best ball tournament is June 27-28 at the Polson Bay Golf Course. People interested in playing are encouraged to sign up soon.
