Two levies for Polson schools passed in Tuesday’s election.
The Polson School District elementary reserve passed 1,312 to 1,169.
The district will now be authorized to impose a building reserve in the amount of $1.225 million ($245,000 per year for 5 years) for general operations and maintenance of the elementary schools.
The Polson School district high school building reserve passed 1,474 to 1,312.
The vote will authorize the district to impose a $910,000 levy ($182,000 for five years) for general operations and maintenance of the high school.
In the Ronan school board election, Tom Anderson was elected over Adam Ray Wood 99-64.
Jack Horner defeated Alan Unruh 557-249 for a seat on the Ronan Rural Fire District.
In St. Ignatius School District 28, Jeff Evans and Brandon Gilleard were the top two vote getters winning seats on the board.
Art Soukkala and Daniel Krantz won seats on the Charlo School District Board.
Three new commissioners were elected to the Flathead Joint Board of Control.
Dick Erb was elected over Wade Shepard 31,709 to 23,526 for the Flathead Irrigation District.
Dean Brockway won over Clark Matt, 2,434-1,244 for the Jocko Irrigation District, and Tim Orr defeated Thomas Pavlock 5,358 to 4,061 for a seat on the Mission Irrigation District.
Holly Wurl was elected to the North Lake County Library board.
