Flathead Reservation wildlife board meets

The Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board will meet Wednesday, May 20 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Polson City Library.   At the meeting, the Board will discuss pheasant and gray partridge seasons and CSKT accomplishments over the past year under the state/tribal agreement. All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting.  The full agenda is listed below:

6 p.m.: Call meeting to order; review and approve prior meeting minutes

6:30 p.m.: Pheasant and Partridge season DRAFT for discussion

7 p.m.: CSKT projects: past accomplishments; future projects

8 p.m.: Spring field trip planning, CSKT

8:15 p.m.: New business, Public Comment, Adjourn

The Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board includes three state members, three CSKT members, and one member from the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.  The Board Chairman is Terry Tanner of Ronan.  The Board was established pursuant to the State/Tribal Agreement on managing fisheries, waterfowl, and bird hunting within the boundaries of the Flathead Indian Reservation.
