MARY FAITH UHDE FRIESEN

Mary Faith Uhde Friesen passed away in Vancouver, Wash. on March 29, 2003. Mary was born on April 7, 1921 in Rollins to Fred and Faith Uhde. She was the oldest child of five. She was raised in Rollins and graduated from Polson High School in 1939, the top of her class. After high school she moved to Southern California to attend college and work.
In 1946 she married Raymond Jack Friesen, a California native and veteran of WWII, and lived in Compton then Long Beach, Calif.
They had two children: Larry Allen born in 1950 and Leslie Ann in 1954.
Mary continued to work while being a devoted wife and loving mother. Preceding her in death were her three younger brothers, Paul, Dick, and Jim and her best friend, Ruth Cornish. Mary left behind her husband and children, her sister, Carol Weaver, and sister in law, Juanita Uhde, both of Montana. Also, cousins, nieces, and nephews residing in Montana, Washington, Arkansas, and California and Kim and Stacy Cooper, whom she called her granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Rest in peace. We miss you so much.
