First graders from Cherry Valley elementary walked down to the corner of 1st Street and Highway 93 to thank the firefighter, Scott Kiser, and Police Chief Wade Nash, who were standing outside today in honor of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The firefighters are rotating to stand at attention. Many people stopped by to shake hands with the two.
