NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

The public is invited to all St. Ignatius Neighborhood Watch meetings. The chapter meets at 7 p.m. every third Tuesday of the month in the senior center.

For more information call chapter president Mack McConnell, 745-4151.

POLSON READS NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

Cherry Valley and Linderman elementary schools in Polson will begin their Polson Reads program with a meeting at 2:15 p.m., Sept. 16.

Volunteers who participate in this program spend 30 minutes once or twice weekly helping students succeed in reading.

Organizers say this program is an excellent way to positively impact a child’s life and want to encourage volunteers to sign up. Homemade pie and ice cream will be served at the meeting. RSVP with Edna Lemm at 406-883-2990 or email mepitchforks@gmail.com.

POLSON SAFETY DAY

The City of Polson Police Department will host its 14th Annual Safety Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 19 at Walmart in Polson. Walmart will host a barbeque lunch.
