Polson center offering meals, activities
Dean Greiner passed from this life on Friday, Nov. 25. A former WWII bomber pilot and mayor of Polson, Dean gave time, energy, leadership and financial support to our senior center and will be sadly missed.
There’s room for a few more bridge players on Tuesdays and Fridays right after lunch. And our exercise group meets three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. All are welcome.
The toe-nail clinic will be here on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Alice Johnson and Jesse Barry had the high games in senior bowling last week. Alice and Don Young shared top honors with their high series. Vivian Ross and Tim Basta had high handicap series.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
Thursday, Dec. 8: Hot ham and cheese sandwich, fries
Friday, Dec. 9: Meat loaf, whipped potatoes
Monday, Dec. 12: Homemade chili, corn bread
Tuesday, Dec. 13: Salisbury steak, noodles
Wednesday, Dec. 14: Fishwich, steak fries
All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
