POLSON CHAMBER SPLASH

The Polson Chamber of Commerce December SPLASH will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15 at Glacier Bank, 49430 Hwy. 93 E. The monthly Support Polson Late Afternoon Social Hour offers participants the chance to network and learn more about the featured business every month. ELKS LODGE HOLDING ANNUAL HOOP SHOOT

The Mission Valley Elks Lodge will be hosting their Annual Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest on Sunday, Dec., 18 at Linderman Gymnasium in Polson. Free registration and warm up will run from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. The contest will begin at 11:00 am. The contest is open to boys and girls ages 8-13 (as of April 1, 2017) from Polson, Ronan and all surrounding areas. There is no cost to participate and no admission charge. Winners of each age group will advance to the District Contest in Pablo at the McDonald Gymnasium. Contact David Rensvold at 406-250-0771 with any questions.

LIBRARY HOSTING HOLIDAY COLORING PROGRAM

The North Lake County Public Library in Polson is inviting participants to its “Cup of Christmas Tea Holiday Coloring Program” on Dec. 21 from 2:30-4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

REPUBLICAN WOMEN ELECTING OFFICERS

The Lake County Republican Women will meet Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sheriff’s Room at the Polson Rural Fire Department building on Regatta Road in Polson. A slate of officers for the coming year will be presented for election. Events will be planned and put on the 2017 calendar. Please bring suggestions for program speakers. In addition to a full business agenda, refreshments will be served. Fellowship in keeping with the Christmas season is promised.

FAMILY TABLE COMMUNITY MEAL

JourneyBe church and Wander Inn will have their Family Table community meal on Friday, Dec. 23 from 5 - 7 p.m. Pastor John is making clam chowder, and light snacks will be served as well. Come one, come all.

PRE-NEW YEAR”S EVE PARTY

A Pre-New Year’s Eve Resolution Party for youth in Grades five through 12 will take place at the CrossCollar Academy at 20 1st Ave. in St. Ignatius on Friday, Dec. 30 starting at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public at no charge.
