This cold weather makes the fog rise up over the water on the lake. I tried to catch some but I mist.

We have an assortment of See’s Candy for sale here. Still only $18 a box.

Both the veterans representative and the hearing clinic will be here on the 20th.

Our birthday lunch will be on Wednesday, Dec. 21 this month instead of Friday, due to the fact we will be winding down early on Dec. 23. The Polson High School Jazz Chorus will be the same day, singing Christmas carols from 1-2 p.m. And we will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, while we will be returning our Christmas gifts. Just kidding; we cherish the fruit cake.

Wow, Claudia Barry, I thought I was watching pro bowling last Tuesday when, bowling on the senior league, you rolled a 241 high game. You also had the high handicap series with 790. Larry Alter shared high game honors with his 245. Larry and wife, Cris, had high series and Larry shared handicap series with Claudia. Good bowling.

The lunch menu for the coming week:

Thursday, Dec. 15: BBQ chicken, baked potato

Friday, Dec. 16: Lasagna, French bread

Monday, Dec. 19: Navy bean and ham soup, tuna sandwich

Tuesday, Dec. 20: Polish dogs, sauerkraut, baked beans

Wednesday, Dec. 21: Roast Pork, whipped potatoes for the birthday lunch

All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
