PRE-NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

A Pre-New Year’s Eve Resolution Party for youth in Grades five through 12 will take place at the CrossCollar Academy at 20 1st Ave. in St. Ignatius on Friday, Dec. 30 starting at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public at no charge. Food and games will be featured as well as a presentation from Taj Bo Kjelland, a Missoula poet and performance artist. Participants will receive a goodie bag, a free photo and a few surprises. Sponsored by FRHRC – a nonprofit providing events promoting the broadest possible community acceptance of the multi-cultural nature of our community. For more information, contact Cathy at 745-4259.

FAMILY TABLE COMMUNITY MEAL

JourneyBe church and Wander Inn will have their Family Table community meal on Friday, Dec. 23 from 5 - 7 p.m. Pastor John is making clam chowder, and light snacks will be served as well. Come one, come all.

RONAN HIGH SCHOOL HOLIDNG CLOTHING DRIVE

Ronan High School FCCLA is sponsoring a clothing drive. We are accepting all teen or adult sized clothing, coats, and shoes in good condition. LIBRARY KICKING OFF WINTER READING COMPETITION

Keep the winter blues away by escaping with a good book (of seven). The North Lake County Public Library in Polson is holding a winter reading program for adults and teens. You can stop into the library beginning Wednesday, Dec. 21 to pick up your bingo-style reading log or print it from our Facebook page. Successfully complete seven squares on your winter bingo card to be entered into a drawing in April. The winter reading program will run from Dec. 21 to March 19.
