Scarlets achieve milestones with win over St. Regis

ARLEE — The Arlee High School girls 38-31 victory over St. Regis was more than just another victory. It marked career scoring and rebounding plateaus for two of their marquee players.

Scarlet’s guard Carly Hergett reached her 600th career varsity point as she led the Scarlets to a 38-31 victory over St. Regis Thursday night at Arlee High School.

Arlee teammate Bryndle Goyins also achieved a career milestone in the conference win.

Goyins grabbed her 400th career varsity rebound pulling down eight boards on the night.

The Scarlets (3-0, 3-3) will now travel to Noxen looking to improve on thier .500 conference record. Hergett led the Scarlets with 19 points and Abby Yocum had eight. Nellie Desjarlais, Goyins, and Noelle West finished with four each.

Goyins snagged eight rebounds. Other rebounders included Yocum with six, Hergett with five, Desjarlais with four and Ashley Tanner with three boards.
