Montana suspense writer Christine Carbo is the Whitefish author of “The Wild Inside” and “Mortal Fall.” Both of her well-received crime novels take place in Glacier National Park.

Beth Hunter McHugh will read from and sign her first book, “The Actor,” which is set in a Montana university town in the 1960s. The novel earned the 2015 Meadowlark Award for Women Writers.
